Greetings Cappy Families,
It's been a chilly weekend, but hopefully you still managed to get outside and play lots!
reminder | Road Safety
With more snow, comes reduced visibility and ability to stop vehicles.
- USE the crosswalks (I still see way too many parents & children cutting across Madigan Dr.- dangerous!)
- Exercise patience when dropping off your children. Leave earlier if you prefer less traffic.
- Drop students off early so they can wait at the door a few minutes OR,
- Drop your student further from the school and have them cross the road with the patrollers.
reminder | Late Entry
We have a duty to report all lates, even if it's "just a few minutes". These lates must be recorded in PowerSchool and this will mean parents/guardians receive the warning phone call, text and email.
Children in the common 1-6 group (not EES) who arrive at the door just after 8 a.m. are considered late. Children often take about 5 minutes to get from the door to their classrooms. Aim to have your children dropped off between 7:50-7:55 (when doors are open) and they will not be late.
All the best,
Rachel MacDonald, Principal
Be kind. Be courageous. Be Cappy Smart!
