Hi Super Cappy Parents and Guardians, 

We had another fantastic week. This week we had many parents attending our Learning Celebrations in Grades 1, 2, and 3. Our Grade 5's got to go on a very special field trip to Tim Horton's Children's Ranch where they learned archery, went on a nature walk, rode horses, and did a low ropes course. Our grade 3 student leaders hosted a wonderful Volunteer Thank You Tea today, We had 14 amazing volunteers attend our tea! 

Free Stampeders Game: Saturday 

This week our teachers sent home Stampeders tickets with a code on the back. These tickets were donated to us by the Stamps. You can either use the ticket to book a FREE game this Saturday, or use the monetary value of the ticket to put towards the season opener game on June 7. Please follow the directions on the ticket to book the games. If you have trouble booking, reach out to the Stampeders booking information line. We hope some of you are able to enjoy the game! 

Moving Schools? 

Is your family moving and your children will be attending a new school? Please inform the office as soon as possible. Thanks so much for helping us keep track of our enrollments, as it helps us with planning for next year. 

Volunteer Opportunities & Volunteer Coordinator 

There are many upcoming volunteer opportunities at Cappy school in addition to supporting field trips. Requests for volunteers for field trips will come through the teaching teams.  

At the school level we have two upcoming volunteer opportunities. Please email our incredible volunteer coordinator, Belinda at belindam14@live.com, if you are able to volunteer on Sports Day or for Healthy Hunger!  

• June 14, Sports Day at Cappy 8:00 am – 11:00 am – we need volunteers to help run stations, hand out snacks and helping monitoring bathroom breaks.  
• June 20, 12:10-1:15 Healthy Hunger lunch distribution (A & W)
