Breakfast club starts tomorrow, Monday, Sept 8 – 7:40-7:55 am
Front doors will be open from 7:40-7:55 am, Monday-Thursday, for any student who wants to come early for a "sit down" breakfast with Ms. Lubna. All of our children are eligible to eat breakfast at school.
We will continue to provide our "grab and go" breakfast options for all students between 8:00-8:15 am and on Fridays. The breakfast program has been generously funded by School Nutrition Program (SNP) and milk is provided through the Brakeman Fill the Fridge Milk Program. All children at the school are welcome to have breakfast and we are able to give them one grain, one dairy, and one fruit through these programs. Please do not hesitate to have your children participate in breakfast, as there are some delicious, health-conscious options for kids!

I am sad to share that even with our patrols starting and teachers at BOTH crosswalks, we still have parents and guardians crossing in the middle of the road with their children. Please, please be aware and set a good example of traffic safety for kids – CROSS AT THE CROSSWALKS! Our patrollers will be out soon and will support safe crossing.

At Home Practice - info for Students & Parents
Our teachers send home targeted and important practice for students. This is work that our teachers know students can do independently and will support their literacy and numeracy learning. Also, our students are often proud to share their current learning with you and now they can show you regularly what they know about reading and numeracy! Additionally, Ms. Hanna will be starting an after school club to support students who have trouble completing or need help completing their at home practice. Parents/Guardians, please support your child's completion of at home practice and send back their communication journal DAILY. Thanks!
