Dear Cappy Families, 

I hope you had an amazing Fall Break!  Happy Diwali to our many families celebrating this week! May the festival of lights brighten your life and bring you moments of joy.  Ms. Khulbe will be sharing her traditions by wearing her special Diwali outfit for all of students to see on Wednesday.   

Thanks to our families who joined us for the Remembrance Day assembly last week. Our grade 4 & 5 classes did a wonderful job sharing songs, stories, and writing. Special thanks to our 4/5 teachers, to Tegan, Emmel and Even for mc'ing, and to Zaynab, Ella, Emmel, Zain, Ali, Koban, Morgan, Arjana and Leighton for sharing their writing. The student speakers were outstanding! Each class contributed poppies to our Remembrance Day wreath.   

Parent Council – Wednesday, November 22 at 5:30 pm in the Learning Commons 

All parents are welcome to join us for this meeting.  During the we will be sharing about the School Development Plan and planning a community evening in December.  The EES teachers will also be at the meeting to share about their program and the amazing things they do with students! 

Popcorn Fundraiser - Please share with your Friends and Families! 

All funds come back to Cappy Smart School, through our amazing School Council.  All popcorn can be ordered through your Healthy Hunger account - and the fundraiser opens on November 20th. Popcorn is only $2/grab bag.
