Dear Cappy Families,
It was a wonderful week at Cappy Smart! On Monday and Tuesday we welcomed Elder Shirley Hill. Elder Shirley shared stories, teachings and led students in hoop dancing. This was an incredible learning opportunity for our school community.
On Tuesday, October 13 we welcome Rhonda Gjosund to Cappy Smart in the role of Assistant Principal. Thank you to Melody Pelling for stepping into this role for the start of the school year. Mrs. Pelling's last day will be Tuesday, October 13.
School Council/Enhancement Society
Thank you to the parents, families, community members and staff who took the time to volunteer at for our Casino on Thursday and Friday, and all of the work that went in behind the scenes to organize this event. These events raise a significant amount of money for our school and help us provide meaningful learning experiences to students and reduced or no cost to families. We are incredibly grateful for all of the work that has gone into this for our school.

- Thursday, October 15 - Picture Day (Individual Photos); Walking club (after school)
- Friday, October 16 - PM kindergarten attends; Grade 6 visit to Egbert
